Felmentünk a Huangshan hegyre kirándulni és ott aludni egy éjszakára.
We went to the top of the Huangshan Mountain to hike and stay a night.

Huangshan egy város, amit a közelében lévő hegyről neveztek el az egyszerűség kedvéért, és magyarul Sárga Hegy-et jelent. De a várost a mai napig is hívják Tunxi-nak, ami a régi neve volt.
Reggeli után első utunk a postára vitt - ideje volt feladni a rakat képeslapot, illetve a szuveníreket is, hogy ne kelljen még tovább cipelni őket. Az itteni bélyeg sajnos nem öntapadós, és nem is “vízezős”, hanem rendes csiriz volt kirakva az asztalra, úgyhogy nagy munka várt ránk, amég a 71 lapra felragasztottuk a 2-2 bélyeget. Egész szép kupac gyűlt össze, úgyhogy reméljük mindegyik megérkezik majd, és egy sem ragadt össze a másikkal :)
Huangshan city is named after the nearby mountain range for simplicity and means Yellow Mountain in English. The city is still called Tunxi these days which was its old name.
After breakfast we headed to the post office because sending our postcards was long overdue. We also shipped our souvenirs we bought to London so we wouldn’t have to carry them for the rest of the 26 days. The stamps in China aren’t self-adhesive therefore there was a pot of glue on the table for us to do it ourselves. It took a considerable amount of time to glue 2 stamps on each of the 71 postcards, but after about an hour we managed. Let’s hope all of them will arrive and none of them stuck together :)
Mt. Huangshan
A lapoktól és a pálcikáktól megkönnyebbült táskákkal mentünk tovább, ugyanis ezen a napon a hegyre foglaltunk szállást, hogy reggel megnézhessük a legendás napfelkeltét. Busz majd libegő vitt fel az egyik csúcs közelébe, ahonnan még sétálni kellett egy picit. A nagy táskákat lerakva még volt időnk elmenni egy másik csúcsra. A hegy és a kilátás is gyönyörű, egészen más, mint az eddigi karszt hegyek Zhangjiajie-ben.
After freeing ourselves from the weight of the post cards and chopsticks we grabbed our bags and headed to the mountain. We booked a hotel at the top of the mountain so we could wake up the next day and see the legendary sunrise. After taking a bus and a cable car up we trekked a bit with our bags to the hotel to drop them off. We still had time in the afternoon to hike to another nearby peak. The views and the mountain was astounding and very different from the previous karst mountains we saw in Zhangjiajie.
Este | Evening
Estére egészen lehűlt a levegő, már majdnem fáztunk is, ami az első alkalom Kínában (kivéve a légkondis helyeket). Az étterem mellett, ahol vacsoráztunk filmet vetítettek valószínűleg a hegy történelméről, kínaiul, kínai felirattal természetesen.
Mivel elég későn döntöttük el, hogy itt alszunk és a hegyen csak pár hotel van, már csak külön 6 ágyas női és férfi szobákban volt hely, utólag nézve Ákos járt jobban. A kínai nők este még tv-t néztek hang nélkül, majd elaludtak rá úgyhogy amikor Petra felébredt hajnali 2-kor, még mindig ment az adás. Illetve reggel a nőket nem érdekelte, hogy ki alszik és ki nem, hangosan pakolásztak, beszélgettek és reggeliztek, sőt a férjeik is ki-be mászkáltak. Még jó, hogy csak egy estéről volt szó.
For the first time in China the weather got considerably chilly in the evening on the top of the mountain. Next to the restaurant where we ate they were also showing movies about the story of Huangshan mountain, obviously only in Chinese with Chinese subtitles.
Since we decided last minute that we want to sleep on the mountain and there are only a few hotels there, our rooms were a 6-bed female and male dormitory. Akos fared a bit better as the Chinese moms watched TV on mute into the night so much so that when Petra woke up at 2 AM the TV was still on while everyone else fell asleep. Also in the morning the women were rude and not caring about if others were asleep or not started packing, talking and making breakfast, and even the husbands came into the room. Thank god the room was only for one night.
